Highlight
A 12-year-old Jura, independently bottled by those wonderful folks over at Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range! This was distilled in 2006 and left to age in a hogshead cask for a dozen years until it was bottled in at 48.4% ABV.
NOSE - Milky coffee, dried apricots and a little white pepper lead with a hint of salinity.
TASTE - Oily malt, waxy orange peel, plenty of vanilla and a hint of redcurrant.
FINISH - A little cocoa powder and allspice linger.
