Highlight
12 year old Mortlach single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. This was drawn from a single refill hogshead, which matured the whisky from November 2006 to June 2018, before being bottled at 48.4% ABV. Just 285 bottles were produced.
NOSE – Candy Shop! Pear drops, apple sours and lemon sorbet.
TASTE – Orange segments with sweet toasted barley and vanilla pods.
FINISH – Medium long with ripe Seville orange, tangerine and caramelized sugar (CGL).
